What the Prophets Teach About Salvation  - How to pray for your own soul ?

As we know, every true Muslim and sincere Christian wants to know for sure that he will have eternal life. This raises the personal question, “Where will I go after I die?” Do I go to heaven or hell?

Below we have given you four steps that you must consider in order to have eternal life. These steps are taken from the writings of the prophets who lived before Isa Al-Masih. When you follow these steps sincerely and pray with an honest heart, you will have eternal life.

1.  Write Every Sin That Separates You from Allah

"We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way. . ." (Prophet Isaiah 53:6).
"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear" (Prophet Isaiah 59:2).

2.  Admit to Allah All of the Sins That You Have Written Down

"Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.’ And you forgave the guilt of my sin" (Zaboor 32:5).

3.  Accept That Isa Al-Masih Was Punished For Your Sins

"But he [Isa Al-Masih] was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him [Isa Al-Masih] the iniquity of us all" (Prophet Isaiah 53:5-6).

4.  Ask Allah to Cleanse Your Heart from All of Your Sins and ask him for a new one.

“‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the LORD. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool’” (Prophet Isaiah 1:18).

"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh" (Prophet Ezekiel 36:26).

Offer prayer to Allah with a sincere heart as suggested below:

"Allah, I know that my heart is full of sin. Most of the sins I have already listed on a piece of paper. Lord, I admit every sin one by one to you. I ask you to cleanse my heart of these sins. I believe that Isa Al-Masih, the Savior of the World as described by the Prophet Isaiah, was wounded and sacrificed for my sins. I know that Isa took the punishment I deserve for my sins, because of your great love for me, Lord. Allah, please give me a new heart. I thank you for giving me new life through Isa, the Ultimate Sacrifice!"
